Tok - Going to Chicken Next

Today we drove from Valdez to Tok. We saw the remnants of a glacier at the edge of a river. Tomorrow we will head to Chicken, Alaska, supposedly named that because they could not agree on how to spell ptarmigan. 

We plan on taking the Top of the World highway to Dawson City. Once we get back into Canada I will not be able to post each day. I will have to find free wifi to update the blog. So I may be taking a few sabbaticals along the way. 

The trip back to Tok at least brought us back into some occasional sunshine. We saw part of Mount Drum and Mount Sanford and - you guessed it - more moose. I got a pretty far away shot of one, but was not prepared for the second one and missed a photo of it.
